意見を尋ねるときの英語表現

(A) How about you?　あなたは？
(B) What do you think?　どう思う？
(C) How do you feel about it?　どう感じますか？
(D) What's your opinion of the new plan?　新しい計画についてのあなたの意見は？

(B) はWhat do you say?とも言うが、How do you think?とならないことに注意。(D) opinionは「意見」。他にviewpoint / point of viewという表現がある。(G) recommendは「推薦する」。(H) は同意を促し、（J）はAre you satisfied with…?で「あなたは…に満足していますか？」と、いろいろな場面で使える。(K) は質問を促すときの表現。このdoは「役に立つ」という意味。

(A) We'd like to hear your opinion.　 I really don't have one yet.
あなたの意見をお聞きしたいのですが。－まだ意見などありません。

(B) I like New York in June. How about you?　Me, too.

(C) What’s your position on it?　I don't think it would be a bad choice at all.
その件であなたの見解を聞かせて下さい。－悪い選択とは思いません。

(D) I think we should ask for his opinion.　I don’t think that's a good idea.
彼の意見を聞いてみるべきだと思います。－それはいい考えだとは思えませんが。

(E) I just got a good idea.　 I'd like to hear it.
